Dragon Flight is the second book in Jessica Day George's Dragon series. I loved the first book Dragon Slippers and was excited to read the sequel. I think I liked Dragon Slippers just a little better than the sequel. The first half of Dragon Flight dragged a little bit for me but it picked up and had a fabulous ending making it a great read in the end. Start with Dragon Slippers if you enjoy it I'm sure you'll love Dragon Flight.Content: This is a clean read. There is nothing objectionable inCreel, from Dragon Slippers, now has opened her own shop. But one of her acquaintances, Prince Lukas, has left the country. While he is over there he sends letters to Creel some of them talk about how tense it is where he is. To help him Creel travels across the ocean to help him. But when she gets there things are so tense that they must go into hiding. While there they discover some unsettling things, and they team up with others to protect their rights. Creel and Lukas are the one who finish

The start of Dragon Flight begins where Dragon Slippers leaves us...that is, Creel (Heroine of the Dragon War) is creating magnifient gowns for Isla (soon to be married to Prince Miles) with her partner Marta. These two girls are very busy since their dressmaking and embroidery skills are exceptional. But, when news of an imminent invasion by Citatie soldiers is coming, Creel and Marta are up to the task of joining forces with her dragon friends, Shardas and Feniul to meet the enemy. Prince Luka
"An unexpected sequel" author said in the Acknowledgements. Really! I just want to deduct a star from the previous book because she didn't intend to write this book. Previous book's ending wasn't satisfactory for me. I rated that book because I had in mind that there is a sequel..!!Anyway, forget it! Let me start the review. This book was pretty amazing. But I found the previous one more amazing. Remember I said that beginning of the previous book is quite uneventful. In contrast, this book has
Creel and company are back for a whole new adventure. Granted, said adventure is moderately similar to the first book in ways, but it was pleasant to read regardless. In any case, the second book, Dragon Flight is on par with the first book. I don't feel as if any great new strides are made by the book, but that's not what the book is about. It's about a girl, a bunch of dragons, and an adventure that's basically always right at your doorstep. I think the best part of the books is the
*WARNING: THIS REVIEW CONTAINS MILD SPOILERS*Dragon Flight was a devastating read because it 1.) made me realize I was becoming an avid fan of George's writing and 2.) it clearly showed that if she keeps up this maniac writing pace I am going to remain quite poor thanks to my book fund being repeatedly emptied! The story opens very sweetly, if not just a little bit boring. Quickly, the reader is thrust back into Creel's world so that even if they had forgotten minor details, it really doesn't
