Hive (Species Intervention #6609 #4)
I have to say this book did get on my nerves more than the others which I loved, hence the different stars, it was still very good but I think there was just too much going on again. I think the loran and Seth storyline really annoyed me. Why is it women in the middle of a disaster pick up a man near the site of a murder and never seem to connect the dots. It's a bit like films where people insist on going outside and get shocked when they get killed!! Also their journey seemed to take months
The world has been devastated and our survivors found a place to ride out the bombs thanks to Netty and the Aliens. I guess we should thank the Womb too. The world aboveground is a cesspool of violence and lawless behavior. Lorn and her grandchildren are trying to get to the Hive where she had been promised safety because her hubby was one of the truck drivers that help saved the rescued wildlife. And what a remarkable place the Hive is. This book moves very fast, excitement around every corner.

amazing book, i cant wait to read more!
Book 4 already in the series, and Earth is changing faster than people expected. The book picks up right where book 3 ended, so it's easy to read the books one after another. Would have been a pity to have to wait for the continuation, but luckily there are already 5 books published! The atmosphere in the book changes a lot from inside the rescue place Baby and Echo showed the humans and animals, and the outside where the rest of the people are trying to survive. The pictures from outside are
This is the fourth book in the series and my absolute favorite!! There is so much emotions and conflict it gets you involved. It got me to thinking on how i would handle these certain situations and how i would handle it, and it also got me to thinking how much this really is true! This book is a continuation of the stories were something in the world is going to happen and all Abby knows is that she is on a mission to help save the precious animals. But in all these she has to learn who she can

In the rush to the Tampa Airport, Abby meets a small group of elephants from the famous Elizabeth Siggins Wildlife Foundation fleeing the political horrors of Africa. Putting them under her protection and that of the Hive, she meets Tobi, the elderly matriarch of the small herd who will sacrifice herself to save a human and in return is rewarded with the ultimate gift the Womb can bestow. As the bedraggled group race to the Hive for protection, saving a few desperate souls as they go, the first bomb arrives. As the survivors and the wildlife struggle to adjust to the new pecking order in the Hive and the revelations of their own origins, a woman and her two grandchildren live through the hellish horror and complete breakdown of civilization aboveground as they struggle to reach the Hive where her husband awaits. Horror visits the struggling survivors as they learn the Earth will not support habitation for at least another one hundred years. But the biggest shock comes from the Womb as it extracts a huge penalty from the hapless people, tolling the demise of the human race.
