The Missing (Sun, Moon, Sand and Star #3)
An Elvin baby has gone missing, a killer is on the loose and lurking in the shadows, secret societies are searching for blood. The Elder is on campaign, and back in the glades of Olian, a great sorrow grips the community: the infant daughter of Higher Durasian Lightfire has suddenly gone missing, and the infamous Old Way falls under immediate suspicion. Andarken Sourleaf and his shadowa are on the case, but while the Old Way remain faceless, none can be trusted, and murderous sprees have become
Although this genre is still new to me, this final part of the series was very good. As I read, I could envision the elves and the magical land in which they lived. Storyline was well written and easy to follow as the narrator told of and attempted to complete their mission. Good ending and series and one I highly recommend!

LOVED! LOVED! LOVED! LOVED!What an adventure! I love these elves. I love these characters, and I love how entertained I feel after reading a book like this. It's a short story for Christ-sake, and yet I feel like I have just come out of a world richer than most fantasy worlds need 500 to 700 pages to build. Andarken Sourleaf is a sort of detective and by far one of the most unpleasant and rudest and insulting characters I have ever read, putting me in mind of Clint Eastwood's character in Gran
Another great instalment set in the land of the Moon Elves. This time, a baby has been abducted. Her father, the Higher Durasian Lightfire, employs Andarken Sourleaf, Old Way Hunter, to find his missing daughter. Andarken is vile with a temper that continuously bubbles over onto his apprentice (shadowa), Paraden, and administrative assistant, Revara.Mostly told from the third person point of view, alternating between Paraden and Revara, this mystery delves a little deeper into the

I had intended to start this during the December holidays, but I took a peek at the prologue, and before I knew it, I was a third of the way in. This one is by far the best installments of the series. I have enjoyed every single one, but The Missing suggests the author's transcendence as a writer. This is a mystery inside a world of fantasy, involving elves that come alive on the pages instantly. The plot is complex and cleverly engineered, encompassing character development, plot thickening,An Elvin baby has gone missing, a killer is on the loose and lurking in the shadows, secret societies are searching for blood.
