Description During Books Atlantis Rising (Warriors Of Poseidon #1)
Eleven thousand years ago, before the seas swallowed the Atlanteans, Poseidon assigned a few chosen warriors to act as sentinels for humans in the new world. There was only one rule-desiring them was forbidden. But rules were made to be broken... When she calls... Riley Dawson is more than a dedicated Virginia Beach social worker. She's blessed with a mind link that only Atlanteans have been able to access for thousands of years. Being an "empath" may explain her wistful connection to the roiling waves of the ocean, the sanctuary it provides, and the sexual urges that seem to emanate from fathoms below... He will come. Conlan, the High Prince of Atlantis, has surfaced on a mission to retrieve Poseidon's stolen trident. Yet something else has possessed Conlan: the intimate emotions-and desires-of a human. Irresistibly drawn to the uncanny beauty, Conlan soon shares more than his mind. But in the midst of a battle to reclaim Poseidon's power, how long can a forbidden love last between two different souls from two different worlds?

This is one hot and steamy read. Run don't walk and get this book! The Warriors of Poseidon are a group of warriors for the God of the Sea, Poseidon. They also have a great touch of alpha male going on! Conlan is the High Prince of Atlantis, thought to be dead, who just escaped from a torturous seven years with Anubibas. Once freed and realizing the Trident has been taken the warriors have to go after it. When Conlan meets Riley soon after the search begins, the connection is immediately. II enjoyed "Atlantis Rising". It was action packed, suspenseful, and romantic. So much goes on in this first book. We have vampires & were-critters living among humans out and about. We have Atlanteans sworn to protect humans, but they must stay unknown to the world. We have the warriors and their priest on a quest. Conlan the high prince and his 7 warriors are all supposed to marry Atlantean virgin's, but we have Conlan who falls in love with a very unique kind of human Riley. Great Read! I
*** 3 ***Read with my smut loving ladies from MacHalo Freaks group:-) This is an old school Paranormal Romance, which I probably would have rated higher had I read it 10 years ago when it was written. So many of the typical components of a PNR have became predictable and taken for granted now, when at the time were new and unexpected. However, this is still a fun, well written story, and I appreciate the little things that make it unique. The Atlantian Prince meets an empathic human girl next

Review posted on Got Fiction?Original review:watch this video by Grout for Atlantis Rising. It's from Alyssa Day's website, and it's an original song/video filmed just this summer.LOVED IT! (both the book and the video)http://warriorsofposeidon.blogspot.co...New Review:This series is being re-released and holy moly look at that new cover. I'll give you a moment ;)I read this years and years ago like, 2009 maybe? It's been a while. When I was offered the chance to review it, of course I said
It was like the BBD with Atlantis thrown in. Hot immortals fighting for the humans and finding their soul mates..mmm herd that before. The story was interesting with the Atlantis and Poseidon's trident myth's being told. The writer knows how to use a thesaurus, which added more depth to the story. It was a bit more PNR than I enjoy reading. I like the love, but I love the story. SO, I will read the second one some day, but no rush.
ok I am going to shuck the normal review and just post my thoughts on how I felt while reading this book."did I miss something" "is this the first book" *re-reads the front cover* "really?" "oh come on" *puts down book* " shut up and have sex already" "this sex scene sucks" "Justice is hot!" " am I at the end yet" " Aww that was a sweet ending, now I have to read the next" The end. I kept out all the eye rolling I did because there was a lot. I won't be in a rush to read the next, but I will
